Documentation:

We took picture of their graves, and it had the dates, but I found the census, 1910 with William and Dora, so he could not have died in 1894. The family is buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo, IL.

In her obituary it states that William was born March 8, 1857 in Pa. and I have found 1853. Still looking for positive information on him.

Sources:
1860 census, Geneseo, Henry County on John and Elizabeth, (William's family.)
1880 census, Geneseo, Henry County on John and Elizabeth Cann
1910 census on William and Dora Ferry Cann and it lists William as a carriage maker.
Marriage license for William and Dora Ferry Cann
1920 census Dora was a widow.
Her obituary and it was signed by A. S. Young doctor. I know that her sister Sarah married Joseph Henry Young of Pa. and they lived at E. Moline, Rock Island County, Il. So I am wondering if A. S. Young is a member of the family?????
