01 Plowed corn on south 20 Bowen was out with load of posts Lydia and Ella went to town nice day Cool at night Bred Daisy. J. Templeton got plow

02 Plowed corn fore noon worked on Barn after noon John and George Bowen were here all day rained some Ina came at night

03 Plowed corn Bowen here with 3 men rained Ina came at night

04 Went to Kewanee Rocky paid me 265 on notes I paid Storey 12 for Colt got pair of shoes for jack paid 2.00 for them nice day 4 of Bowen were here today. Ina went Home today Boys went to town at night I paid note at First National Bank $100.00

05 Plowed corn 4 of Bowens men here Myrtle and Ada here at night Irves here at night Jack and Ella went to Dance in Annawan Harry went to town nice day Paid Jack $10.00

06 Plowed corn Trimmed Hedge Bowen here with lumber nice day

07 Sunday took Bess and Stub to Fathers nice day

08 Mowed weeds and trimmed Hedge George and John Bowen and F. Morly worked on Barn rained some Bred Rockys Mare

09 Mowed weeds and trimmed Hedge nice day rained at night Jack and Harry went to town at night

10 Harry hauled corn for Charley Kimerling Jack plowed corn, Lydia and Ella went to Kewanee Mrs Muret came Home with them Bowens were here nice day Soldiers Reunion Bred Maud

11 Boys planted corn I helped Bowen nice day

12 Boys plowed corn part of day rained some Bowens were here and worked on barn

13 Boys plowed corn I worked on Barn fore non, went for load of lumber after noon Bowens were here, Paid Harry $10.00 at night

14 Sunday stayed at Home

15 Worked on Barn Boys worked in field Bowens were here 4 of them

16 All three worked on Barn 5 of Bowens were here Paid Bowen for strawberrys

17 Boys plowed corn I trimmed Hedge Bowens were here with 4 men Father and Mother were here got 5 or 6 bu corn nice day

18 Boys plowed corn Bowens here 4 men nice day I helped on Barn

19 Boys Plowed corn I helped Bowen he had 8 other men hot day Lydia and Ella went to Kewanee

20 Boys plowed corn Bowens here with 5 men I helped on Barn went to town at n ight hot day

21 Sunday stayed at Home nice day

22 Boys plowed corn finished the 80 3 times Bowens here with 4 men I helped on Barn nice day Father was here he brought note of Johnnys over to me Myrt was here at night on wheel Boys went to town at night Ella went too

23 Boys plowed corn Bowens here with 4 men I helped on Barn nice day Mrs Mumford went to Galesburgh

24 Went to Mineral to sell corn did not sell there paid Erley 4 for flour Came back to Annawan and sold to Sign for 22 cents delivered any time next week Paid Sign for plank Paid A. Fitzke 13.56 for store bill nice day

25 Boys plowed corn Bowens here 3 men I worked on Barn nice day

26 Roys plowed corn I worked on Barn Bowens here 2 men nice day all went to Church at night I stayed home

27 Boys hauled corn for George Bowen John was here and worked on Barn I helped him Ella took Ethel Home nice day Father here Lydia gave him $2.00 Harry got 100 lbs twine in Mineral 8 cts l

28 Sunday nice day went to Couves to see about shelling

29 Shelled corn G. Fitzkee shoveled all day Bowens were here George hauled 3 loads and John one nice day Jack got load of coal of Jake Messmore paid for it. I paid Wheel Shaw 6.60 for thrashing last year squared up on the thrashing. Welly came and got a sack of old potatoes I bought 4 shoats of C. Eyre at 3.50 per hundred he said they weighed 150 per head

30 Finished shelling helped Rocky shell part of afternoon paid Fitzkee 1.75 for shoveling, shelled 67 loads Fred Couve said he would take 70.00 and call it square nice day Father was here & took six bu Home Lydia and Ella went to Irves
