Contributed by Carole Hollingsworth were these photos of her Great-grandfather Henry Wells Gran born 1860 Andover, Illinois to Dr. Christian Henry Gran and Elizabeth Drake Gran. He died January 9, 1880 in Alpha, Illinois and her Great-grandmother Lilly Mariah Timberlake Gran. Born July 26, 1860 in Booneville, MO and died July 25, 1948 in Alpha, Illinois. Lilly's mother was Mary Elizabeth Timberlake who was the daughter of Robert Douglas Timberlake who setteled on Oxford Township in 1837 and is listed in the 1875 Henry County Atlas as a Farm and Stock Raiser from Green Co, Ky.

 Emil and Mary Fahnstrom and their two young daughters, taken in about 1911, the year Ruth was born. The older daughter is Rena. The picture shows the farmhouse in West Sweden, Texas, that Emil built after he and Mary moved to Texas from Illlinois. Contributed by Susan Fahnstrom
