Names were left exactly as they were in the records (spelling was not corrected).  The list is in the same order it was transcribed in.  Names we know for certain were incorrectly spelled are Sumption, Whitehouse, Earley, Pyle and Higginson.  Some parents have multiple children listed, so check carefully.  Some location names are also not spelled correctly--the most obvious being "Galvey" IL (Galva).

Note that a few of these listings also contain death dates if the child died shortly after it was born or blessed.

The original record books are now held by the RLDS Archives in Independence MO.
